    220901 - Boston, Salem & Cape Ann

    Trip Itinerary:
    Day 1: Depart your group’s location in a spacious, restroom and video-equipped motor coach and set off for historic Boston. This evening, relax at your en route hotel.

    Day 2: After enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you will set off for historic Boston. This evening you will enjoy Dinner and check into a Boston area hotel for a four night stay.

    Day 3: After enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you will depart for a Full Day Guided Tour of Boston. Today’s sights include Trinity Church, Boston Common, John Hancock Tower and more. During the day, stop for a lunch break at world famous waterside attraction, “Quincy Market & Faneuil Hall Marketplace.” Visit “Cheers: The Replica,” enjoy great shopping and more. Afterwards, your guided tour continues with sights such as USS Constitution (“Old Ironside”) and Cambridge. This evening, enjoy Dinner and entertainment before returning to your hotel.

    Day 4: Enjoy a Continental Breakfast and start off with a visit to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum – with permanent exhibits dedicated to First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, The Space Race and more. Then, depart for a guided tour of Lexington and Concord. This tour highlights a visit to the Minute Man National Historical Park, the birthplace of the American Revolution. This day is often voted by groups as their favorite part of the trip. This evening, you will end your day with a relaxing Dinner.

    Day 5: Start your day with a Continental Breakfast before departing for a Full Day Guided Tour of beautiful coastal Massachusetts. Visit Salem, a city with more than three hundred years of New England history and the site of the infamous Salem Witchcraft Trials. Then, continue your tour onto scenic Cape Ann. There you will visit the vintage New England seaside town of Gloucester – “America’s Oldest Seaport.” Next, visit Rockport, another coastal town with quaint shops, restaurants and galleries. This evening, enjoy a relaxing Dinner and return to your hotel.

    Day 6: Enjoy a Continental Breakfast before leaving for the Turning Stone Casino in Verona, New York. Enjoy world-class gaming, including high-stakes bingo with some of the biggest jackpots in the state. This evening, relax at your en route hotel.

    Day 7: Today, after enjoying Continental Breakfast, you depart for home… a perfect time to chat with your friends about all the fun things you have done, the great sights you have seen and where your next group trip will take you.

    Trip Itinerary:
    Day 1: Depart your group’s location in a spacious, restroom and video-equipped motor coach, enjoying the great scenery along the way. Then settle into a comfortable en route hotel for a good night’s rest.

    Day 2: After a Continental Breakfast, head to the Arkansas Arts Center in Little Rock – Arkansas’ leading cultural institution. Later in the day, enjoy Dinner and head to your en route hotel.

    Day 3: Today, you’ll arrive in beautiful San Antonio, Texas – Home of the Alamo! Later today, enjoy a relaxing Dinner and check into your San Antonio area hotel for a five night stay.

    Day 4: After enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you will take a Guided Tour of San Antonio. The tour includes visits to San Fernando Cathedral, the King William Historical District and El Mercado, an area patterned after an authentic Mexican market. Later you will enjoy Dinner and go on San Antonio’s famous Riverwalk Cruise.

    Day 5: After enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you’ll head to the Gulf of Mexico! Your journey will begin with a stop at the stunning Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi, Texas. You will enjoy exhibits with 13,000 animals from 460+ species, wildlife presentations, shows in their 4D Theater and more. Then, you’ll head to Bob Hall Pier, which extends over 1,000 feet into the Gulf of Mexico. You’ll have a chance to take a stroll on the pier and enjoy the magnificent view. Later, after Dinner, you’ll head back to your hotel for a good night’s rest.

    Day 6: Enjoy a Continental Breakfast before departing for Fredericksburg, “Jewel of the Texas Hill Country.” Start with a visit to the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park where you will go on a tour of the LBJ Ranch, and see the ‘Texas White House.” Then, depart for the National Museum of the Pacific War, including the George Bush Gallery. Here, visitors become quickly engaged in the personal stories of Americans from all branches of the military involved in the Pacific Theatre of World War II. This evening, enjoy a local Dinner with entertainment.

    Day 7: Start the day with a Continental Breakfast. Afterwards, depart for a visit to the San Antonio Missions. Experience the “Queen of the Missions” – Mission San Jose, established in 1720. Next, you will visit the Institute of Texan Cultures. The Institute is devoted to the 26 different cultures that settled Texas. Later, go to the IMAX Theatre at San Antonio Rivercenter to see “ALAMO… The Price of Freedom.” Then, stand where history took place when you visit the buildings and grounds of the ALAMO – “The Shrine of Liberty.” This evening, you will relax and enjoy Dinner.

    Day 8: Enjoy a Continental Breakfast at your hotel before leaving for the Magnolia Market at the Silos in Waco, Texas. Later today, after a relaxing Dinner, you’ll check into your en route hotel.

    Day 9: Today, after Continental Breakfast, you’ll enjoy a visit to the Old State House Museum in Little Rock, Arkansas. Tonight, relax in your en route hotel.

    Day 10: Today, after enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you will depart for home… a perfect time to chat with your friends about all the fun things you’ve done, the great sights you’ve seen and where your next group trip will take you.

    239210 - Humane Society

    The West Suburban Humane Society is a volunteer-based, animal welfare organization that houses up to 25 dogs and 60 cats at a time. This trip will include a tour of the shelter, a volunteer project (TBD) and time to socialize with the animals. If you are planning to receive service hours with this trip, please bring any forms that need to be signed. Fee includes transportation and supervision.

    Departure/Arrival: Lisle Park District Recreation Center, 1925 Ohio Street.

    Join us for a trip to Funway Entertainment Center in Batavia, IL. We will start the night off skating and will have access to the Arcade games and attractions - outdoor activities will be weather permitting.     239903 - Apple Holler Farm

    Enjoy a perfect autumn afternoon as you enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the season at the Apple Holler Farm just over the Wisconsin border. We will begin our tour with lunch at the beautifully decorated Red Barn Restaurant and Country Store with a delicious home-cooked meal of farm fresh chicken with all of the trimmings, including hot apple pie topped with ice cream for dessert. After lunch, we will board a tractor-drawn wagon for a narrated ride through the Orchard and Enchanted Forest and some apple picking - ¼ peck bag per person. No visit would be complete without a little time for shopping and tasting at the Country Store, bakery and gift shop. If time permits, on our way home, we will make a stop at the Jelly Belly Distribution Center for a short narrated train tour and some Jelly Belly tasting and shopping.

    Registration fee includes lunch, tractor-drawn wagon ride through the Orchard and Enchanted Forest, apple picking, tour of the Jelly Belly Distribution Center and round-trip motor coach transportation.

Make sure you save time to shop in their retail store. Next, escape from the ordinary and experience the extraordinary at The Chocolate Sanctuary for lunch. Chef Ahmed’s menu celebrates the cocoa bean in its many forms; you will find a variety of beautifully plated main courses, appetizers and desserts that incorporate the restaurant’s namesake ingredient. When registering, please choose one of the following entrees: Slow Roasted Carved Turkey Sandwich, Prime Rib Sandwich, Pork Sliders or Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap.
